my heart breaks day after day piece by piece bleeding out stiffening cold and i sit with it, i sit with it, i sit with it taking my pain and suffering withstanding despair feeling and healing embracing and caressing feeling helpless and useless feeling grateful and determined to complete this lesson once and for all sensing something beautiful to come the radiance, the vibrancy, the light, the love from the ashes and pieces of a broken life i’ll rise like a phoenix and rest in my power.
